In “The Middle” Of My Search

Chronically Growing _ In The Middle Of The Search

There are so many things I have to say about todays post. I have always loved gossip girl It’s been my comfort show for so many years. But lately I have just not been feeling it. So, I’ve been searching for a new show to watch that gives me the same feeling not necessarily the same story setting or vibe but the feeling I felt.

So I’ve been giving a bunch of new series a chance to get my new comfort show

And while on my hunt I saw a bunch of older shows from when I was a kid. One of them was “The middle”. Its one of those shows When I saw the heck’s (The family the show follows) I was reminded of when I was a kid when My parents, my sister and I used to sit in the living room on some random weeknight eating our spaghetti Mince. Me sitting on the floor because what kid doesn’t love sitting on the floor. I remember this so vividly it’s really a fond memory the togetherness. These where also the days before Netflix and other streaming platforms. When you just watched what came on.

I decided to watch “the middle” because of the nostalgia and I didn’t really know what else to watch. Turns out I found what I’ve been looking for unintentionally. I fell in love with the show all over again and this time I watched the whole series.

While watching The Middle I realized that one of my biggest role model as a kid came from this show

Sue Sue heck. I remember when I was younger, I loved Sue’s outfits, her quirkiness and just her ability to never give up. Watching it now as an adult I realize that I grew up to be a version of Sue and I am living for it. It’s weird how things workout this way like I know it’s just a show but seeing Sue again just reminded me a bit of who I want to be.

I highly recommend watching this show its about a normal family and their lives and I feel like in the time we are living in now and everything is getting over influenced it’s a nice show to bring you back to reality. This show just really makes me happy I was laughing so much at their silly jokes and it was overall just great.
